This is the cover for assignment 2. I want to create a "picture book" of sorts for the short story, The Lottery by Shirley Jackson. I like the image and I'm OK with the font (limited to trial version selection), but does it look like it's cut-off????
It does look kind of cut off on the bottom and right sides to me. That could just be because of the black and grey borders on the top and left sides of the image, though. Maybe it would help to have the borders only on the left side, or on all sides, or not at all? Personally I like full bleeds, but there are a couple ways you could do it that might help it look more balanced.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Jenni. I think a full bleed may work best for this image. The photo is fanstastic, quite moody. I also like your font selection and layout. Nice start!
