I have a vision for the look of the flyer, but I need to learn more of the basics of InDesign. A redesign of the flyer would include all of the elements required for this assignment (author image, text about the book and author, three shapes, four colors).
I thought I would critique my own work, because it points out the areas that I would like know more about.
ReplyDelete1. The blue in the oval shape should match the blue in the sky. The oval shape should not cut off on the sides and bottom of the flyer.
2. A white strip is along the right side of the flyer.
3. The author name and bookstore information should be in a box of color.
4. Is it possible to remove the blurb from the top of the banner (the image is the actual book cover), so the space could be used for additional content about the event?
5. How do you fade out an image in the background, so additional layers could be added? How do you just have a solid color background?
