Lynn, your flyer looks good! Nice use of complementary colors which coordinate with the book cover and author headshot. Good use of compartmentalization of your text as well. Congrats on your first adventure in InDesign!
I like the clean, balanced look and the asymetry of the columns. Wondering how it would look if the very bottom text box were centered on the page or stretched to go across the entire page. Love the colors and your choice of a veggie still-life to go with the content. I picture this flyer on a nice shiny gloss paper... or as full-page ad in a health-food magazine!
In conjunction with Melissa McGurgan's Digital Book Design class, this blog functions as a online class component. Handouts, links, and project samples will be posted for easy access and students can share their progress, ideas and finished products. Students and visitors are invited to comment and share their input.
